Personality Profile: Marcus has a friendly and open personality which bleeds through into an easy smile. He tends to trust easily and befriends people quickly, and will forgive equally as fast if someone trespasses against him. Loyal, almost to a fault. While he tends towards leading in a group, he will follow but will offer any suggestions freely and often without being asked.
He believes that his gifts are from God: This is the only belief that he holds close to himself and does not share.
Physical Description: He is fairly average in most respects: Build, weight, height. His hair is kept short back and sides, the fringe slightly spiked upwards. Face is rounded, not angular, along the jaw and chin. He still shows no signs of hair on his chin, so he has yet to start shaving, and there is very little on his arms and legs.

Mutation/Powers:
Primary : Manifest Soul - The mutant is able to manifest parts of their 'soul' into reality, taking whatever shape they desire. Whatever they manifest must remain in contact with the mutant. The further away this manifestation is from the mutant the weaker it becomes. Smaller manifestations are easier to maintain. Complexity and size determines how much concentration is required.
Examples of things the mutant has been able to manifest:

Wings, allowing limited flight
The mutant is unable to manifest complex devices with many moving parts.
The manifestations appearance and colour is directly related to the mutants emotional state at the time. When at peace or relaxed, they appear white with a gentle glow about them. Anger has shown to send stripes of deep scarlett through the manifestations and to cause the edges to appear jagged.
If touched by a manifestation, the person may feel a degree of the emotion, but nothing to override their own - Just an idea into how the mutant is feeling.
When used offensively the manifestations are able to strike through objects based upon the objects strength: Normal metal is easier to cut through than titanium, where as aluminium is easier than both.
In defense the manifestations have shown to be extremely resilient, able to absorb and distribute energy evenly, passing very little back to Marcus' body. The ability to do this is dependant upon the strength of the hit. As example, were Marcus to be hit by a car he would still be knocked back and to the ground, suffering injuries from that, but the car strike itself wouldn't have damaged him; the car would likely suffer damage equivalent to had it struck a very heavy animal.

Drawbacks/Weaknesses : Manifestations cause a degree of exhaustion proportionate to the complexity, size and amount of time manifested that sets in after the manifestations are cancelled.
If the manifestations take damage the mutant feels pain, though less than were the damage inflicted directly upon their body. If any of the manifestations are cut off from the mutant, the mutant feels a great deal of pain proportionate to the amount lost. Depending upon the amount of damage or amount lost, it could take hours to days to fully recover.
If a lot of damage is taken the mutant would fall unconscious while the soul repairs.
If too much damage is taken, or too much lost, the mutant would die and be unable to be revived through medical means.
While the soul is manifest the mutant bares all that they are, and is very vurnerable to corrupting or saving influences.

Background: Growing up in Lucerne was interesting and boring at the same time. The younger of two brothers, Marcus was much more outgoing than Matthew who was one year older. By the time he was twelve he knew everyone in the town, and was friends with most of them. Mature and friendly, Marcus started baby-sitting for his neighbours kids when he was fourteen; it was paid, but he would have done it for free.
The first instance of his power manifesting itself was when, while helping a family move into a home, one of the heavy cabinets they were carrying in fell on Marcus. He doesn't remember much, but from what he was told there formed a sort of white cloud in front of him, taking the brunt of the fall. He was still knocked to the ground and suffered some scrapes and bruises from it, but he wasn't crushed.
He realised, to some extent, that this was a very personal thing, though he didn't realise exactly what it was. He told and showed his family what he could do. Though supportive, they were wary of him from that moment. Eventually he was sent away, though not against his will.
