Personality Profile: Bitter at how he was raised to be used as a tool for religious purposes, angry at the father who abandoned him and also now wishes to use him for his own purposes. Afraid of what his power might mean for him. Yearning for a life outside of how he was raised and friends and companions who don’t want to use him for what he is.

General Power Information: Michael’s abilities mostly come from his father, an archangel. His wings grant him the ability to fly, he has a golden bow that can hit any target he takes aim at. (It should be noted the gold is colour, not an actual metal) His powers are of course angelic in nature and therefore have an aura of the “divine” to them. Meaning it would affect those who’s abilities or natures are against such more powerfully than others.

Ability One: Angelic transformation: Right now Michael does not have control over this ability and it is the reason he is coming to Cobalt. When threatened his power will “erupt” from him and the transformation into his angelic side will happen quite forcefully; especially since he is currently trying to repress it out of anger at his Archangel father. Angelic Transformation gives him: Wings for flight, Angelic Bow that can hit any target he sets his sights on, Angelic Aura that makes it hard for any of ill intent to look directly at him or hit him; meaning that any attack aimed at him has a higher chance of missing or not being able to harm him. (There may be more in the future but as he is currently repressing the power this is all he knows now)

Ability Two: Aura Sight: Michael was born with the ability to see Auras around people. They appear as colours that shift and change depending on a persons mood or activity at the time. Meaning he can tell if they are stressed, upset, or even lying.

Ability Three: Soul Sight: Michael can see the state of a person’s soul. Meaning he can see if they are attempting to be a good person, or don’t care and are a blatantly bad person, or if they have been hurt, are broken, have been put back together, corrupted, whatever might affect the state of a person’s soul. However he is still learning to interpret what he sees and since he refuses to deal with his father he’s not exactly getting any advice in that area.

Drawbacks & Weaknesses: Michael’s angelic powers will not affect or harm anybody deemed “innocent”. In other words if that persons soul has no cracks or flaws then his power simply cannot get through. Even if a person is attempting to be good, so cracks that have been repaired, his power will not find an opening to get through and will not be able to harm that person. Given that “good” can be up to the interpretation of the individual this can present many problems.
Michael has been repressing his powers and therefore has little control, they will often “explode” from him in times of danger or great emotional stress, forcing him to be “the angel” weather he wishes to be or not. This also means when it comes to the aura and soul sight he really can’t turn it off and it will often give him nasty headaches if he has been around too many people for too long.

Skills: Michael was raised in a cult environment so his life skills are unfortunately somewhat lacking. He’s learned he has something of an affinity with animals, being able to be calm around them and they calm around him. This is likely because an animals soul is generally pure. They are what they are with no intentional malice. Even if they are an animal who might kill you for food they are doing it for food, not because they just want to kill you. Like humans.

Background: Michael’s mother was raised in a super religious home and easily fell prey to a religious cult in her younger years. When she was found by Michael’s father, and she realized he was a literal angel, there was nothing stopping her from doing whatever she could to please him. Nine months later Michael came along. Being in such a religious environment and having been fathered by an angel Michael’s upbringing was turbulent to say the least. Expectations of him were high from the start, in so much as they expected him to be a literal living symbol of their religious superiority on Earth. Given that he could see aura’s and souls Michael knew something was off about everybody there. Once he started to figure out what the colours and signs he saw meant he realized that there was nothing truly “holy” about any of their so-called leaders. By the time he was roughly sixteen there was an attempt at a wedding ceremony where an older man would have wed more than one teen aged girl.

Well it was clear to Michael with his abilities to see the souls and auras of others that the man had no good intentions towards these girls and that the girls were scared witless. He tried to stop the ceremony but there were protests. This was the first time his emotions got the better of him and his angelic power exploded from him quite forcefully. The men were badly hurt but the girls were perfectly fine. According to the other “elders” it was a miracle! A MIRACLE! Michael knew they were full of shit. This explosion of power drew the attention of Michael’s father. Who showed up for the first and only time (thus far) in Michael’s life. He tried to convince Michael that there was a greater purpose for him, that he had been born for glory and to fight the greater fight of the divine. All Michael heard was a bunch of bull shit from a two pump chump who had abandoned him and his mother after a one night stand and promptly told the be-feathered fuck where to stick it. This was a shock to the Archangel as no other Seraphim before him had been able to resist what was known as “The Call of the Divine”. In other words: “listen here you little shit..”

((As an aside, Michael’s dad had a moment of weakness with a mortal, that is how Michael came about. His excuse for how this happened is that while Angel’s themselves cannot go to Hell to finish off Lucifer perhaps a Seraphim, a half-angel, can. So he is trying to experiment and potentially build an army to fight Hell. He’s lying to cover his indiscretion but it’s a plausible lie none the less, but Michael has his own abilities and knows its a lie))

After this, on a trip out to get supplies one day, he discovered there was a potential way to get free. A mutant underground as it were, he had only to reach out. So he did. Secretly. That was where the Harringtons came in. He was rescued and brought to the Harrington Estate to try to start a new life, but given that he is still in England, still just waiting for someone from the cult to find him there, or his father to find him, he’s still repressing his powers so no one will notice him. So Evelyn Harrington, the leader of this group, is helping him get to Cobalt with the help of Headmaster Dillon Anderson, in hopes of the young man finding a fresh start.

Criminal Record: None, he probably doesn’t even have a proper birth certificate given his background.

Quirks, Extras, Random Character Facts: Hates all religious figures because of how he saw them in his youth and how he saw them treating others. He has yet to meet one that is genuinely nice and truly believes and wants to help.
Would rather hang out with animals because they’re easy to read and genuine about their needs but is still a very lonely young man who wants friends.
Terrified his family might find him again one day or they might bring him back to that damn place. Worse, what he might do to them if they try.
